The University of Florida’s Center for European Studies will be awarding Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) fellowships for summer 2021 and AY 21-22.
These fellowships are funded by the US Department of Education under Title VI of the Higher Education Act. Fellowships are awarded to graduate and undergraduate students to study a European language and to take European area studies courses.
Applicants are required to either attend a FLAS info session or schedule a one-on-one meeting with the FLAS coordinator. A schedule of FLAS info sessions is available on the main CES FLAS page and on the CES events page.
Students applying for an academic year fellowship and for a summer intensive language fellowship must submit two separate applications.
Students from all University of Florida colleges are encouraged to apply.
